Planning an outdoor graduation party for a loved one or yourself? You’ve come to the right post to get some insight on what you need to make it run as smoothly as possible for your rentals!
1. You Need a Tent.
We figured this one would be pretty obvious, right?
Weather can be unpredictable and if your outdoor graduation party has happening rain or shine, you need to make sure your Plan A is also your Plan B. Making sure your guests are properly covered from too much sun (or rain!) is the most important rental item on your list.
In order to make sure you have the right tent size, you need to look at a few factors: How many guests are invited? Do you want everyone to sit at the same time, or have a few tables and allow guests to mingle?
Once you know your invite list, here is a basic rule of thumb: 5′ round tables and also 8′ banquet tables require 100 square feet each. So, if you want four tables you need 400 square feet of tent to cover them appropriately.
You don’t want to make everything feel TOO tight under the tent, so you want to allow for walking room and mingling as well as your foot tables and drink tables, too!

2. Tables & chairs
We know guest seating and tables for eating are easily remembered, but don’t forget about your buffet and drink stations, too! Your food and your drinks need a space under the tent, so make sure you are including those tables in your calculations.
When considering linens for a backyard event, first consider the style of the event. Is it casual, or formal? If you are leaning towards a casual event, you might not necessarily need linens that are floor-length for your tables. Make sure to reach out to your sales associate for guidance on this!

3. Outdoor Lighting
