Ceremony Location
When holding your wedding at Indian River Life Saving Station, you have the option to hold your ceremony, over the dune, out on the beach, with the ocean as your backdrop! Collective Event Group provides same day set up/break down service for ceremony chairs and wedding arbors on the beach, not only at IRLSS, but anywhere in Rehoboth, Dewey or Lewes beach areas!
Cocktail Hour
After your ocean front ceremony, your guests would proceed back over the dune for an open-air cocktail hour, toes in the sand! The venue gives you the option to keep the museum open during cocktail hour, so guests can enjoy walking through and learning about coastal Delaware and its history.
Reception
After cocktail hour, guests then move into the wedding tent for dinner and dance the night away! Some couples opt to have dancing in the sand, but we can also provide dance floors, installed right on the sand!
The open front pole barn sits parallel to the wedding tent location, so that area can be utilized in addition to the tent, to gain more usable covered space. Collective Event Group carefully aligns the side poles of the tent, and posts on the pole shed, so guests can move freely between the wedding tent and pole shed.
